The first 2 weeks were really stressful
‘coz we just had an entire month of R&R…
Then WHAM!
We had it full-on in the face.
(clean thoughts... please)
We were being brainwashed with cinematography, aboriginal art, cave paintings, design principles, oral traditions, creative concepts, story-telling, image composition, drama, emotions, expressions, lights, camera, ACTION!!!
Nyearh ha ha ha haaaa.
Think I’m going nuts. Literally.
So yesterday we had Film Crisisism.
It was about film editing so we went back to basics – graphic novels!
Heeeeee.
It’s not that simple tho'.
You have to consider the sizes of panels,
The images drawn,
Close-up or wide image,
Angles,
Shadings,
Colours,
Sizes of images,
Significance of images...
Yadayadayada.
So these are some of our panels.
An ant hill.
A car driving on gravel.
Our so-called 'storyboard'.
Oh yeah… before I leave I just wanna say…
Don’t ever heed love tips from me.
Love isn’t a toy to be meddled with.
Words are easy to say but…
Love is something valuable you should truly cherish,
just like you do your skateboard.
